HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Friends of the Homewood Public Library Bookstore will host a bag sale from Oct. 16-18.

From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, library patrons can fill a bag at the Friends Bookstore for $7. Bags will be provided. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Homewood Public Library.

Friends of the Homewood Public Library is a nonprofit organization focused on raising funds and providing volunteers to support the library. Some of its goals include providing equipment and program funding.
