LOWER GWYNEDD — For the second week in a row, Wissahickon went to overtime with a Suburban One League American Conference championship hopeful.

After losing to Plymouth Whitemarsh in Week 7, the Trojans came out with a win against Upper Moreland in Week 8.

Evan Tolmie threw a touchdown to Dom Harvey-Sheppard on the first possession of overtime and Ben Hinchcliffe’s extra point gave the Trojans a seven-point lead. Justin Valentin ran for a touchdown to get the Golden Bears within one, but Dylan Shanter intercepted the two-point attempt to give Wissahickon a 28-27 win at Wissahickon High School Friday night.
