In a noteworthy development, Shri Anayat Ali Choudhary-IPS officially took charge as the Senior Superintendent of Police SSP in Kulgam. A formal ceremony was held at the District Police Headquarters in Kulgam in this regard.

Anayat Ali Choudhary-IPS was warmly received by the outgoing SSP, Sahil Sarangal-IPS, along with other officers of the district. A guard of honor was presented to welcome the new SSP as official commencement of his tenure. The outgoing SSP, Sahil Sarangal-IPS handed over the responsibility to Anayat Ali Choudhary-IPS in a brief function at DPO Kulgam.
