Donald Trump's doctor has issued a major update after he underwent a checkup on Friday. ‌

Concerns have been raised over the US President's health since he took office in February, after he was photographed with bruised hands on several occasions. As reported by the Mirror , one politician even suggested the erratic 79-year-old could have dementia. ‌

This week, Trump spent around three hours at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he underwent a "scheduled follow-up evaluation". ‌

His doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, wrote in a one-page memo released on Friday night: "President Donald J. Trump remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and physical performance."
