Former U.S. Rep. Madison Cawthorn will officially launch his return bid for Congress on Saturday.

The Southwest Florida Republican will hold a campaign kickoff at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers on First Street, with the event scheduled at 6:15 p.m. Conservative activist Anthony Raimondi , known by the online handle Conservative Ant , is scheduled to attend. Entry will be free, and there will be a cash bar.

The dress code, according to an e-vite, will be “anything from boots to suits.”

The former North Carolina Congressman filed paperwork to run to succeed U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds in Florida’s 19th Congressional District, where Cawthorn moved after his 2022 Republican Primary loss in his old congressional district.
