Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, on Saturday inspected the newly constructed Yatri Suvidha Kendra at New Delhi Railway Station, a modern facility designed to accommodate around 7,000 passengers and enhance comfort during the festive season travel surge.

The minister announced that similar Yatri Suvidha Kendras will be developed at other railway stations across the country to improve passenger experience. “This state-of-the-art facility will provide greater comfort to passengers, especially during the festive season when passenger volume surges,” Vaishnaw said.

The Kendra is strategically divided into three zones—Pre-Ticketing (1,218 sqm), Ticketing (2,860 sqm), and Post-Ticketing (1,150 sqm)—to streamline passenger movement and reduce congestion. It features 22 ticketing co
