Paul Cauthen stunned the country music world earlier this year when he announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, and just a few weeks later he delivered another shocker.

The 40-year-old singer took to social media to announce that he was not going to treat his cancer via traditional methods but was instead opting for a holistic approach. While Cauthen has not offered many updates, he has been busy back out on the road playing shows and making new music.

Earlier this year, he did open up about exactly what he is doing to treat his thyroid cancer as well as how he thinks things are going during an appearance on the “Ten Year Town” podcast with Troy Cartwright.
