A 17-year-old Duluth boy was instantly killed when the car he was driving plunged off a 40-foot embankment on the Lincoln Park Highway near West 10th Street and landed upside down on a boulder in Miller Creek. His companion, a 15-year-old girl, escaped serious injury.
