TRAVERSE CITY — Mental health care has not always been the projected career path for Sarah Lee Sullivan, whose proclivity for mathematics quickly transformed after realizing her passion for helping out those around her.

“I started my career in finance and accounting because I was always good at math,” Sullivan said, and she turned that skill into a privately-owned bookkeeping business in 2019. “Over time, though, I discovered my passion for mental wellness, especially through my work as a manager and executive leader. I found that I enjoyed helping and supporting people more than just creating budgets.”
