TROUTMAN—Sophomore quarterback Kaden Craft and Lake Norman (5-2, 2-0) spoiled South Iredell’s homecoming Friday night, beating the Vikings (2-5, 0-2) 38-12.

The Wildcats used a 25-point second quarter to jump out to a 31-0 halftime lead.

Craft started the scoring early in the second period on a three-yard run. He went on to add a 45-yard pass to Noah Jacobsen and a 39-yard run with a minute left in the half, scoring three of his five combined touchdowns on the night in the quarter.

Craft opened the scoring up on a 27-yard pass to Micah Slaughter in the first quarter and added a second 45-yard pass to Jacobsen in third to round out his 5 total touchdowns.
