CHICAGO —A Chicago man accused of sexually assaulting a woman after breaking into her Northwest Side home late Wednesday night is now facing felony charges.
According to Chicago police, 36-year-old Law Davison, an Englewood resident, has been charged with several felonies, including home invasion with a firearm, home invasion with a sex offense, felony possession of a weapon, and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault with a firearm.
The charges stem from Davison's alleged role in the break-in, which allegedly unfolded around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of North Milwaukee Avenue, an area bordering the Logan Square and Avondale neighborhoods.
