A furious Yashasvi Jaiswal refused to leave the field after a disastrous mix-up with captain Shubman Gill led to his run-out early on Day 2 of the second Test against the West Indies in Delhi.

Resuming at 173 overnight, Jaiswal could add only two runs before calamity struck in the eighth ball of the day. Facing a fuller delivery from Jayden Seales that angled away, Jaiswal confidently leaned forward and punched it straight to mid-off. Believing there was an easy single, he took off instantly.
