PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Here comes the rain. It will be a very wet start to our Saturday with additional rainfall expected this morning.

Parts of the valley will see upwards of a half inch to an inch of rain this morning.

Most of the rain currently falling is taking place in the East Valley, where some areas are already getting close to an inch of rain overnight.

Because of the rainfall the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch south-central Arizona through Sunday night.

Showers and a chance of thunderstorms will continue through early next week.

We have a series of tropical systems that will bring us a chance of rain through Tuesday morning.

Be careful out there for some slick roads, and pack that umbrella as you head out this weekend.
