The author of this year's One Book One Lincoln winner will be in the Capital City in November.

Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai, the author of "Dust Child," will speak at the Lincoln High School auditorium, 2229 J. St., on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.

Quế Mai will discuss her novel followed by a question-and-answer session. A book signing will take follow with copies available for purchase from Francie & Finch Bookshop.

"Dust Child," selected in September out of three finalists, follows two sisters who work in Saigon's bars during the Vietnam War and earn money by spending time with American soldiers. Some of those soldiers father children who are later left behind.
