A Tulsa nonprofit received a big donation that's helping the homeless store important items.
BeHeard lets people shower, do laundry, and meet with caseworkers, and now it's offering a new resource.
Being able to lock up important documents brings John Vose a sense of security and safety, because he says living on the streets without that option leaves him constantly worried.
John Vose says being homeless means he has a lot to keep track of, especially after being moved out of his encampment during Operation SAFE.
"The less we have to carry on a daily basis, the better," said Vose.
Birth certificates and social security cards are documents Vose can't afford to lose, and when he doesn't have anywhere to keep them safe, it makes life a little harder.
