SPOKANE, Wash. — The Downtown Spokane Spirit Week is back Oct. 20-24 for its fourth year.

The Downtown Spokane Partnership is inviting people to celebrate downtown with themed dress-up days, activities and promotions at downtown businesses.

Participants in the nonprofit's "fun and friendly" competition can earn points throughout the week by dressing up, checking in at participating businesses and posting on social media. The team with the most points will win a catered breakfast for their office. People can also enter prize drawings throughout the week.

People can also show their Spirit Card for special deals and discounts each day of the week.

Teams must register by Wednesday, Oct. 15 to participate.
