Our generous community, including the local branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) which awarded our first scholarship in 1946, provides dozens of students each year with scholarships, and with them the opportunity to build the lives they’ve dreamed.

Do they make it? Do those young students succeed? On Saturday, October 18, we have a chance to hear from ten scholarship recipients from the past and learn what happened next.

Four are currently in school, two in traditional paths from high school to college, and two others re-entering school after time in the workforce or building a family. Those women re-entering education are still juggling work and family, but with support pursue a career as well. Each of the four will share her challenges and achievements.
