Residents in Perth ’s northern suburbs now have greater access to chemotherapy services after the opening of a new infusion suite at Glengarry Private Hospital.

The $3.2 million Waratah Infusion Suite in Duncraig was officially opened last Wednesday night by private provider Ramsay Health Care.

The oncology services have been established at the hospital in the former maternity ward, which closed in December 2023 after being transferred to Joondalup Private Hospital.

The suite is set to reduce travel times for patients in Perth’s northern suburbs, many of whom previously may have had to journey into the city for private chemotherapy.
