As the regular season draws to a close, it’s always a bittersweet moment when a franchise says goodbye to the players who have proudly worn the Okanagan Sun jersey throughout their Canadian Junior Football careers.

Before kickoff in today’s (Saturday, Oct. 11) BCFC semi-final game, the Okanagan Sun will honour 16 graduating players, recognizing the incredible contributions they’ve made both on and off the field.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. today at the Apple Bowl against Vancouver Island Raiders. In the lone meeting this season, the Sun (10-0) beat the Raiders (5-4-1) 42-0.
