A woman who told her husband she “scammed” him into marrying her at their wedding has copped major flak over the admission on social media.

The bride took to Reddit on Friday to say she told the groom in her vows that she plotted ways to make him like her before they were an item in front of the couple’s stunned family and friends.

“For me, it was love at first sight for my (now) husband. Not so much for him,” she wrote on the social media platform.

“I was his little sister’s friend, strapped with braces and constant tween giggling.

“He was the older, much much hotter, 'couldn’t-care-less' older brother just down the hall. I obviously had no shot.”

The woman said the pair later met again through mutual friends some years later when they were both of age and she was braceless.
