HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - A West Springfield man was arrested in connection with multiple motor vehicle accidents in Hadley Friday night.

The Hadley Police Department stated that shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday, Public Safety Dispatch received a 911 call regarding a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Route 9 and Route 116. The caller said that one of the vehicles, a gray Nissan SUV, was reportedly leaving the area of the crash.

Officers in the area located a gray SUV driving westbound on Russell Street at a high rate of speed. Police tried to pursue the vehicle, but lost sight of it.
