ATLANTA — A man wanted for a shooting on a MARTA train back in May was arrested early Friday morning in southwest Atlanta.
Police say Rico Williams, the suspect in the May 18 incident at East Point Station , was taken into custody during a joint operation with Atlanta police and federal agents.
Officers responded that afternoon to reports of gunfire on a train, where they found two men hurt—one with a bullet wound to his chest, and another grazed in the neck.
By the time police arrived, Williams had already left the scene.
After spending months tracking leads, investigators finally located Williams' home. When they moved in to make the arrest, they also found guns and drugs inside.
