FARGO — About 60 Fargo-Moorhead residents came together Saturday, Oct. 11, to march in peace from Island Park to Fargo City Hall as a way to "stand up" against violence and drug abuse.
March Organizer Aaron S. Kawreh said, regardless of people's skin color, religion or background, they are together as the "people of Fargo," and stand up for change.
Kawreh, who serves on the Fargo Human Rights Commission, said Saturday was a chance for the Fargo community to host a powerful and peaceful march aimed at uniting people of faith and families to take a stand against increasing violence and the destructive impact of drug and substance abuse in their neighborhoods.
