Manchester United are planning an audacious £60million swoop for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.

United head coach Ruben Amorim has been closely monitoring Wharton's development and is said to be a big admirer of the 21-year-old midfielder, who has emerged as one of England's brightest prospects over the past year-and-a-half.

Wharton made his move to Palace from Blackburn in 2024 for a fee of £18m and has since played a crucial role in what has been the most successful period in the club's history under Oliver Glasner.
