COALINGA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Action News has learned the Fresno County Sheriff's Office is assisting the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office with a search operation southwest of Coalinga.

The search is happening in a rugged area off Highway 198 near the Curry Mountain Trailhead.

Authorities have not yet revealed the focus of their search, but the two agencies have recently been working to find a missing Coalinga woman.

Isabel Lucas Velasco was last known to be in San Luis Obispo County on September 12. She has ties to both Coalinga and Visalia.

On Monday, San Luis Obispo County sheriff's detectives reported that they seized two trucks as evidence.

Investigators say the circumstances around Lucas Velasco's disappearance are suspicious.
