MILO, Maine — Milo and state police responded to Albert Street Saturday afternoon after a 45-year-old barricaded himself in his RV home.

The man apparently got into an altercation around 11:30 a.m. with a mobile RV mechanic and pulled out a gun, Milo police told NEWS CENTER Maine.

Milo Police Chief Nick Clukey said he called Maine State Police for assistance from their tactical and crisis negotiation teams.

"They [MSP] were able to make contact with him through his mother somehow, I believe, and got him to agree to come out," Milo Police Chief Nick Clukey, said.

Shots were ultimately not fired, and the man surrendered around 4:30 p.m., according to Milo police.

Police also reportedly found weapons inside the man's RV home.
