Srinagar, Oct 11: The Jammu & Kashmir Police scripted a remarkable victory by clinching the overall championship trophy in Pencak Silat at the ongoing 10th All India Police Games Judo Cluster, currently being hosted under the aegis of the All-India Police Sports Control Board at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex (SKISC), Srinagar.

Since J&K Police could not field women’s team, the men alone guided the side to become champion with 13medals, including eight gold, four silver and one bronze.

The overall second place went to SSB with 47 points earned in both men and women sections while ITBP finished third with 26 points. In total, 20 teams took part in Pencak Silat event. The Karnataka Police could not open the account thus draw blank in the medal tally.
