A bear ripped off a man's head and left his body with horror "scratch marks" after ambushing him in a forest, police said.
Fujiwara Yoyoshi, 71, vanished on Wednesday (October 8) from his home in Nishine, Japan, after leaving home to forage for mushrooms in Iwate prefecture.
