ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - A plan to build parks, small businesses, and a 474-home subdivision on farmland west of Lake Saint Louis is heading to the St. Charles County Planning and Zoning Commission Oct. 15.

The project, called “Trailside Farms” would cover more than 250 acres along Highway N near Perry Cate Boulevard, across from Wentzville South Middle School and Timberland High School. The proposal was submitted by Kolb Grading of DCM Land VI, a development company based in Weldon Spring.

If approved, the neighborhood would include 385 single-family homes and 89 townhomes, along with eight commercial lots for small businesses.
