The Patriots elevated running back Terrell Jennings and outside linebacker Truman Jones from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Jennings, a second-year pro out of Florida A&M, will take Antonio Gibson’s spot as the Patriots’ No. 3 running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. He’s appeared in three career games with 13 carries for 33 yards.

Jones, 25, is needed with edge defenders Keion White and Anfernee Jennings both already ruled out. Jones went to Harvard and has spent time with the Chiefs. He played one game last season and had two tackles.
The Patriots also ruled out safetly Jaylinn Hawkins (hamstring) and placed Gibson (torn ACL) on injured reserve Friday. They’ll need to only make three more players inactive Sunday against the S
