OCEAN CITY — Despite the threat of a nor'easter set to hit the Jersey Shore later Saturday night, the city was packed for its annual Fall Block Party.

More than 400 crafters, food vendors and entertainers lined Asbury Avenue between Fifth and 14th streets Saturday morning and afternoon. Entertainers and bands performed at various spots along the avenue, including the Robert Boney Band, Big Daddy, String Band and Keith Hickman.

There was plenty to do for the kids as well, including pony rides at the Ocean City Tabernacle.

Parking was free at all municipal lots and metered spaces throughout the city.
