JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Rural Fire Department extinguished a fire involving a pile of trees on Friday, Oct. 10, said Fire Chief Brian Paulson.
The department was dispatched at 6:37 p.m. to 3083 Hoggarth Drive. Paulson said the owners of the property were burning a large pile of trees and felt the fire was starting to get out of control. Three trucks and six firefighters were at the scene for 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
