A stabbing in Lauderhill on Saturday led to one person being taken to the hospital, while another person was detained, police said.

According to Lauderhill Police, officers arrived in the area of 1500 N. State Road 7 after receiving reports of an altercation between two men over parking.

During the altercation, one of the men suffered a stab wound, drove himself to the Lauderhill Fire Station, where he was treated and was then taken to a local hospital.

The man had non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be OK.

The suspect was detained, and a knife was found at the scene.

No arrests were made.
