LOS ANGELES — Michigan football is expected to have a pair of key contributors back tonight.

Starting offensive lineman Giovanni El-Hadi and reserve tight end Hogan Hansen were missing from the Wolverines’ pregame player availability report submitted to the Big Ten, making them eligible to play vs. Southern Cal (7:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. local, NBC).

Look for El-Hadi to get the start at left guard, a welcomed return for a Michigan offensive line in need of reliable experience. He’s been out since Week 2 with a lower-body injury.

Where that leaves Nathan Efobi, who filled in for El-Hadi the last three games, remains unclear. Jake Guarnera has been playing right guard for the last three games, and the team’s old starter at right guard, Brady Norton, is Michigan’s lone player listed as quest
