A Virginia woman is being accused of delivering a cooler containing a deceased fetus to an friend in Pulaski County.
Makayla A. Haedt, 29, faces a charge of first-degree harassment for purposefully causing emotional distress to the victim, according to court documents.
Court documents filed Wednesday say Pulaski County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence in Waynesville on Sept. 18 around 2:48 a.m. for reports of a deceased fetus found in a cooler.
The person who reported the cooler told deputies that he and Haedt were friends and had been romantic with each other off and on over a few years, according to a probable cause statement.
