COLORADO (KREX) — On Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) will open its next round of emergency rental assistance pre-applications until Thursday at 5 p.m.

The emergency rental assistance funding is available for eligible Coloradans who have fallen behind on their rent, meet income limits or other qualifying factors, and are at risk of eviction or displacement.

After the window for pre-applications closes, all applicants will be entered into a random selection process. Due to the process, the timing of the submitted application will not impact an applicant's chances of receiving emergency rental assistance, as it is not first-come, first-served.
