BATON ROUGE – LSU football will be down an offensive lineman for its clash with South Carolina Saturday night.

Sophomore left guard Paul Mubenga has been ruled out for No. 11 LSU's Southeastern Conference matchup with the Gamecocks inside Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6:45 p.m. CT and can be seen on the SEC Network.

Mubenga had been listed as questionable on the SEC-mandated injury reports all week leading up to the game. STREAM LSU VS SOUTH CAROLINA

In his place, sophomore Coen Echols is expected to start at left guard. Freshman Carius Curne could possibly see some time at the position as well.
