NORTHAMPTON — The Paradise City Arts festival is showcasing the work of more than 200 artists and craftspeople throughout the Columbus Day weekend at the Three-County Fairgrounds.

The festival has two new co-directors — Mariah Swanson and Elana Chernick-Kritz. They’ve replaced Linda and Geoffrey Post who founded the festival in 1995, and turned it into one of the top art festivals in the nation.

“We are deeply grateful for the amazing foundation they’ve built and are ready to carry that legacy forward, bringing fresh energy and new ideas,” the new directors said in a joint statement.

The festival features three exhibition buildings, a sculpture promenade and two dining tents.

There are original works in ceramics, painting, jewelry, art glass, wearable art, furniture, leather and more.
