The NCISAA announced its postseason volleyball brackets on Saturday, with Wesleyan Christian earning byes to the Class 4A quarterfinals as the third seed.
Wesleyan (20-2, 10-0), seeking its third state title and first since 1991, received its seeding after going 62-16 in sets played overall, with its only match losses coming to 3A No. 4 seed Davidson Day, 3-1, on Aug. 21 and 4A No. 6 seed Ravenscroft, 3-1, on Oct. 6. The Piedmont Triad Athletic Conference champions have been led by 2027 Penn State recruit Nejari Crooks , who tops the team in kills (367), aces (100), blocks (60) and assists (333) and is second in digs with 198.
Wesleyan reached the 4A state semifinals in 2023 and 2024.
