Iowa football 's defense dominated Wisconsin in the first quarter Saturday, with the top highlight coming from an unlikely Hawkeye .

Defensive linemen don't often get a chance to showcase their hands and speed, but Aaron Graves took full advantage of his opportunity when he surprisingly intercepted Badgers QB Hunter Simmons and took it back 35 yards.

Unfortunately for Graves, he came up half a yard short of a pick-six, but his teammates still went wild after he set up quarterback Mark Gronowski for an easy goal-line rushing TD.

It was the first interception in the four-year career of the 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman from Dayton, Iowa .

Iowa built a 17-0 lead over Wisconsin after the first quarter, allowed just 54 yards of offense and forcing two interceptions.
