GRAND FOLKS, N.D. (WKBN) -- Youngstown State football fell on the road to No. 12 North Dakota 35-17 at the Alerus Center on Saturday afternoon.
A bright spot was YSU receiver Max Tomczak who became the program's all-time leader in career receptions with 188. The previous record was held by Jim Ferranti since 1979 with 186 career receptions.
Farrell native and 'Guins receiver Kylon Wilson also shined with a career-high 102 receiving yards and one score off four catches.
YSU quarterback Beau Brungard completed 18-33 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns. He also led the 'Guins in rushing with 79 yards and one score from 19 carries.
North Dakota QB Jerry Kaminski threw three touchdown passes off 17-27 passes and 146 yards in the win. Sawyer Seidl also posted 20 carries for 114 rushing y
