KALIHI (Island News) -- A father and his daughter were arrested on Friday night accused of assaulting police officers in a dispute in front of Farrington High School.

A large dispute took place in front of Farrington High School at about 9:29 p.m. on Oct. 10. Police officers responded to the scene and in an attempt to break up the fight, an 18-year-old woman hit an officer in the face and a 38-year-old man kicked an officer in the groin.

Both officers were treated by paramedics and later took themselves to Kuakini Hospital for further treatment.

The suspects were identified as father and daughter and they were taken into custody for first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. Their charges in this case are pending.
