PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- As the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals weighs whether or not to allow President Trump to deploy federalized troops on the streets of Portland, dozens of protesters once again gathered outside the ICE facility, including many in costumes and an appearance from the Unipiper.
The protests at the ICE building have largely been peaceful, and Saturday afternoon was no different. Many people were chanting, music was played, bubbles were blown and costumed protesters are multiplying.
It is an active scene at the ICE facility on Macadam in South Portland, but the protest is peaceful.
