Every time Hobart loaded up the box to defuse the Garnet Chargers’ Patch Flanagan-led rushing attack, Flanagan was able to find his ace receiving threat, senior wideout Gil Rivera, for big gains that set up high-percentage scoring opportunities. The result was four Flanagan touchdowns on quarterback keepers as the Garnet Chargers won their fourth straight game, 33-16, in a Liberty League grudge match Saturday on Frank Bailey Field.
