SCHENECTADY — The more multifaceted the Union College offense becomes, the more decisions opposing defenses are forced to make.

Every time Hobart loaded up the box to defuse the Garnet Chargers’ Patch Flanagan-led rushing attack, Flanagan was able to find his ace receiving threat, senior wideout Gil Rivera, for big gains that set up high-percentage scoring opportunities. The result was four Flanagan touchdowns on quarterback keepers as the Garnet Chargers won their fourth straight game, 33-16, in a Liberty League grudge match Saturday on Frank Bailey Field.
