When a baseball game ends and fans make for the exits, players, coaches, and members of the media still have work to do.

After Friday’s heartbreaking 3-2 loss in the 15th inning of the AL Division Series, a 4-hour, 58-minute epic, Detroit Tigers play-by-play announcer Dan Dickerson summed up fans’ frustration on a hot mic.

“F--- this game recap,” Dickerson can be heard saying before realizing he was live, via X/Twitter . “Oh, I’m sorry, was that out loud?”

The Tigers were officially eliminated from the postseason by the Seattle Mariners on Friday night. The Mariners advance to the AL Championship Series, where they’ll face the Toronto Blue Jays .
