The game is, of course, never about one player, but if there was one player for the Colorado Buffaloes that needed something positive, it was Kaidon Salter.
A fifth-year senior transfer from Liberty, Salter has had a roller-coaster season, which has included many fans in Buff Nation wanting to see his backups play instead.

On Saturday, he rebounded with his best game in a Colorado uniform, throwing for 255 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for 57 yards in a 24-17 upset of No. 22 Iowa State.
“We challenge everybody, not just Kaidon,” head coach Deion Sanders said. “He stood up and stood out. He did his thing.”
Salter had the first three-interception game of his career a week earlier in a 35-21 loss at TCU, and he wasn’t sharp early Saturday, but he led the Buffs thr
