PITTSFIELD, N.H. —

A New Hampshire man was arrested after a police pursuit ends in a crash in Pittsfield on Saturday morning, authorities said.

New Hampshire State Police said around 2:15 a.m., they received reports of a driver who took off after Concord police tried to initiate a traffic stop for misuse of plates.

A trooper responded to help, found the vehicle, a maroon 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, and after the driver failed to stop again, a pursuit ensued, state police said.

The driver continued on Interstate 393 eastbound and onto Route 9 in Chichester. The driver then ran a red light and continued on backroads, speeding and running multiple stop signs before going north on Route 28 into Pittsfield, st
