PHOENIX — A woman was hospitalized after a road rage shooting in Peoria, according to officials with the city's police department.

The shooting happened on Peoria Avenue near Loop 101, officials said. Traffic on Peoria Avenue westbound between 91st Avenue and Loop 101 will be delayed while authorities investigate the shooting, police said.

The women's injuries were not life-threatening, officials said.
