QUEEN VALLEY, Ariz. — Residents of Queen Valley have been put on a SET alert due to a flooding emergency, according to the Pinal County Public Health Services District .
Residents should be prepared to evacuate if the order is given.
This includes gathering your family, pets, essential supplies, and important documents.
"Placing Queen Valley on Set Status ensures everyone is prepared in the event the wash continues to rise and overflow," said James Daniels, with the county.
The agency said the Whitlow Creek crossing is flowing significant water and is closed at this time.
It urged everyone to use caution and remain safe.
"An increase in water flow is expected during heavy rains throughout the day," the agency said.
