ST PAUL, Minn. — “Let’s go Wild!”

Minnesota Wild fans packed Grand Casino Arena for the team's home opener.

“It’s a lot of fun to come here, the atmosphere is always a great time,” said Rebecca Hollrah.

“I mean, it’s home opener. This is what it’s all about,” said Frank Richie.

Some fans waited for more than an hour for the gates to open. No matter how long they waited in line, everyone was excited to cheer on their favorite team.

“We’re hoping not to have voices tomorrow,” said Darya Tenenaum. “We’re super excited.”

Darya came to the game with her sister, Maria, and dad, Igor.

“I’m hoping we're going to round 3 and round 4 for the Stanley Cup,” Igor said.

11-year-old Ricky Walker was excited to see Filip Gustavsson between the pipes. Walker’s a goalie just like Gustavsson.
